Lives Worthy of Dignity

Valuing all lives. No exceptions.

Lives Worthy of Dignity is a gathering place for change-makers, equality-seekers and story-tellers.

Right now, our community faces a pivotal moment in history. The Canadian Government has proposed changes to MAiD (also known as assisted suicide) that will have transformative and lasting impacts on the disability community. By specifically defining disability as a condition that will qualify a person for MAiD, Bill C-7 will set a dangerous precedent for the different treatment of people with disabilities versus those without.

Join us in confronting the misguided belief – one that is set to become enshrined in law – that life with a disability is a fate worse than death. Stop Bill C-7. Protect the lives, rights, and dignity of people with disabilities and help us show government that every life is a life worthy of dignity.
